Quality Improvement Project – Medication Safety

Those of you who undertook NSG2104 in Semester 1 will remember you were required to conduct a literature review based on one of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. Taking the Health Services Standard you selected, you are now required to develop a quality improvement project based on the Health Services Standard you addressed previously. The content of the proposal will include: the background of the project; statement of the problem; significance or importance of the problem; a brief review of related literature; the premise of the project; the aim of your QI project, assumptions, definitions and measurements; outline of the project procedure and the use of appropriate improvement approach (PDSA for example); how findings might be disseminated. See the suggested framework (below) for how you might present your proposal. All the references are to be put in using End note. Follow the attached assignment framework strictly.
