Students prepare a presentation for a student-run conference. After obtaining ethical approval, students will collect eye tracking data in a context of their choice (e.g., evaluate a coach or performer) and present their evaluation of the data. The duration of the presentation will be 20 minutes (15 minute presentation and 5 minute defence). Criteria for the Student Conference –the ability to: 1. Collect data sufficient to audit coach and/or learner practice in an applied sport setting of your choice, 2. Collate, analyse and interpret coach and/or learner practice with respect to theory and research, 3. Draw meaningful recommendations for future practice and discuss how you would seek to communicate these changes to the coach/learner, 4. Use audiovisual material creatively and clearly. Formative assessment will involve presentation and discussion of initial data.
