Metrics and website actions
As we discuss various reports, metrics and website actions – we will develop insights and propose new tests for websites. We will review various websites to discover user experiences and testing of customer conversions. You will be evaluated based on thorough assessment of the website and it’s competitive set/market, clarity of ideas/strategies and originality. REQUIREMENTS -Campaign can be within the last year -Business purpose, place in market (Are they an Amazon or a Jet.com?) -Who is their audience? This can be based on their mission statement, ads/marketing initiatives -What do you think the current campaign focus is? Is it clear and supported with creative/ads, etc.? Is it relevant? -Backtrack to hypothesis what your company’s chosen KPIs, insights, strategies, and supporting metrics were (3 KPIs with 2 supporting metric per KPI) -Include a chart to clearly outline the alleged KPIs, insights, strategies, and supporting metrics -Within your analysis of the company’s strategies- apply class learnings by assessing at least one digital strategy discussed in class (i.e: site inspect – find ‘meta’ for keywords, URL, emails, social media presence, UX design, cookies, search placement, awareness/sponsored partnerships) -2-3 pages in length (not including dashboards, but can include charts)
