How does the time period in which the story takes place reveal the theme of social stigma? Requirements: Write a literary research paper in which you make an argument about a work from our textbook of your choice. You may focus on any number of things, such as characters, themes, plot, historical background, or anything else you find relevant to developing a deeper understanding of the play. The essay must be written in third person. Four outside, scholarly, secondary sources are required. The sources must also discuss the work of your choice. Create a Works Cited page and cite both the outside sources and the work of literature that you are writing about. This means there must be least five sources in the Works Cited page. All sources must be cited within the text as in-text citations. The rough draft requires an outline as well. You must submit an informal outline of your paper with or before the rough draft. You can choose any one short story, play, or poem from the book as your primary text, but you are not allowed to write about any work that you have already written a paper on. An email is due to me in the next couple weeks with one paragraph about your piece of chosen literature and what you will be writing about and researching. Tell me why you are choosing to write about the story, poem, or play. What is interesting or motivating about this work to you? What do you expect to find during your research process? Remember to use Times New Roman and 12 point font. Be sure to follow MLA formatting conventions. Include a Title, a Heading, and save the work by your first and last name, followed by the assignment name: Ex: Susie Fries, Essay 2.docx
