Intergovernmental agreements

Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word paper in which you compare the advantages and disadvantages of intergovernmental agreements to the advantages and disadvantages of independent projects or programs. Chose a topic that addresses an international concern such as immigration regulation, foreign commerce, outsourcing jobs, border protection or drug trafficking. Select at least one project that is administered by a multijurisdictional authority and one from a single jurisdiction authority. You may use the readings to provide the theoretical foundation and the appropriate corresponding websites as examples of the practical application. Be sure to address the following: * What are the differences and similarities between the two models? *How does leadership or governance differ between the two models? *What advantages does the IGR have over the independent entity to achieve a workable solution? * What are the essential policies for each model?
