How sociological theories are relevant to understanding the real world.

For this assignment, you will choose one of the following prompts and answer it in 5-6 pages (double-spaced, 12-point font and normal margins). You must also include a references page at the end of your paper (which doesn’t count towards the page requirement). Each question asks you to describe one of the theories, then discuss its relevance for understanding the world today (the last 10-20 years). You will draw on outside sources to answer this question (and you may also draw on personal experience). The goal of this assignment is for you to strengthen your ability to think and write about how sociological theories are relevant to understanding the real world.
