Discuss how you would approach the planning, development, facilitation and evaluation of a group program developed specifically for this context.
Purpose:
The formulation of a plan facilitating care considering client needs and preferences as a group requires the student to apply knowledge and understanding of ethical practice in line with current regulations and best practice. Evaluation of the program requires the student to demonstrate their ability to assess the effectiveness of the program in offering recommendations or adjustments to best accommodate the clients expectations and needs. The evaluation and construct will be supported by theories.

• topics and themes that might be addressed during the program
• approach to group facilitation/leadership that you would employ
• specific techniques and/or intervention strategies that might be appropriate
