Answer the following question which is drawn from your textbook: “Which sound might be telling symbols of who people are, of ideas and objects that people value, that is, signifiers of cultural value?” Post one example of a sound that your group found was a signifier of cultural value (this can be a combined answer instead of one individual’s experience). For example, some associations can include: nationality, race, class, age, gender, ethnicity, and so on.
