Watts Riots of 1965
The paper is about the factors that lead up to the riot in 1965. The paper will talk about the de facto segregation in housing, police brutality, and poverty. The historical question for the paper is: What key factors led to the Watts riot? The thesis answering this question is: After the second migration, African Americans confronted de facto segregation (especially in housing), police brutality and poverty; these factors ultimately led to the Watts Riot in 1965.
