You must have the required four (4) citations and sources. Please adhere to APA guidelines in terms of margins, a simple cover page, page numbers, proper citations and references. Key Originating Authors: Disengagement Theory: Cummings and Henry (1961) Activity Theory: Havighurst and Albrecht (1963) Continuity Theory: Havighurst, Neugarten, & Tobin (1968) Overview of Micro, Mid, and Macro Analysis: Micro analysis refers to the smallest unit of analysis in social sciences such as study or investigating the individual in their social setting or social context. This also referred to as local level or small group analysis. Some examples might be: individuals, small groups, partnerships, households, families, even neighborhoods depending on size. Mid-level (Meso) analysis refers to a population group or size that is in the middle of micro and macro levels. This is considered a mid-range type analysis and can help realize connections between the micro and macro levels. Some examples would be a community, a formal organization, a state or village. Macro-level analysis refers to the largest unit of analysis or the study of larger populations. Such examples would be the analysis of populations such as countries, global communities, international studies, and nations. Other Important Clarification About This Matrix Assignment: This assignment is not designed to be difficult. It is designed to introduce you to a few of the main theories on aging and since no one theory explains the totality of human behavior, it is important that you be aware of at least three of the original theories of aging. This assignment is also designed for you to be familiar with the basic assumptions and foci of each theory, the main concepts or themes associated with understanding the theories, advantages and disadvantages, the level of analysis (large, medium, or small scale). There are many theories of aging but I want you to focus on the three listed in the Matrix.
