Annotated bibliography should include 5 unique references:
1. a relevant review article
2. a relevant empirical article on the topic that was published in the last 6 years and has 5+ citations
3. a relevant empirical article that cites your selected article for #2 (i.e. a “cited by” article)
4. a relevant empirical article that includes a special population (i.e. infants, seniors, people with
autism, etc)
5. a relevant empirical article of your choosing
Each reference should be in APA format, should note the “times cited” for the article, and should have a brief annotation (3-4 sentences) that includes the following information:
1. the question or topic addressed by the article
2. the article’s methods
3. the article’s results & conclusions
4. your assessment of how the article might be useful (ex. Topic overview, definition, methods, etc.)
