The Impact of Increased Resources on Standardized Reading Scores and Attendance in a Low Socio-Economic Elementary School
Description
The dissertation is examining poverty and it’s impact on education (specifically standardized reading scores and attendance). I am using an existing data set from a very low socio economic school district in Las Vegas. They were gifted over $200k. There is data on the reading scores and attendance both before and after the money was given. The study will look at what this district did with the money, and what had the most impact and if the money made a difference in these two areas
