Supply Chain Strategy

In this module you watched and read about Zara’s highly effective supply chain strategy and how it uses real-time market data to drive it’s product development and delivery (supply chain) processes. You also developed an understanding of emergent systems. Imagine that you have just been selected as the new CEO of Sears. Based on your review of the history of Sears, you recognize that the company is on a downward spiral (do some research on the company’s history). Combine the supply chain strategy and design of Zara’s with the concept of emergent systems to develop a strategy on how to turn the company around. Provide some specific examples and explain how these strategies might improve Sears’ performance.
