The senior leadership team has asked you to produce a rationale/document at short notice for the board meeting the following week. You will be outlining the future scope and decision making with regard to employee relationship management along with the requirements of current key employment legislation for the organisation.
This will include: 1. Strategies for building and improving employee relations/engagement 2. Key areas of employment legislation within which the organisation must work 3. The role of trade unions and workplace representation where applicable P5 Analyse the importance of employee relations in respect to influencing HRM decisions P6 Identify the key elements of employment legislation and the impact it has upon HRM decision making M4 Evaluate the key aspects of employee relations management and employment legislation that affects HRM decision- making in an organisational context D3 Critically evaluate employee relations and the application of HRM practices that inform and influence decision making in an organisational context
