A. Create a standards-based elementary (grades K–5) disciplinary literacy lesson plan that is designed for a single day. The lesson plan must integrate writing instruction and technology for a specified grade level. All elements of the lesson plan must be aligned. Use the attached “WGU Lesson Plan Template” to do the following: Note: Parts A1 through A8 should relate to the same lesson plan, not multiple lesson plans. 1. Identify general information for the lesson plan, including each of the following elements: • the lesson’s subject • the lesson’s topic • the grade the lesson is designed for • the student grouping plan • the seating arrangement 2. Identify each of the following lesson components: • one content-specific lesson standard such as math, science, or social studies • one writing standard • one measurable objective students should achieve to demonstrate they meet the standards, including a condition, behavior, and criterion for the measurable objective 3. Identify any lesson materials for students or resources for the teacher that are necessary for the lesson plan. 4. Describe two prerequisite skills or connections to previous learning that are necessary for students to be able to participate in and benefit from the lesson plan. 5. Explain lesson presentation procedures for each of the following points: • new information or teacher modeling • guided practice • independent practice • culmination 6. Explain one differentiated lesson instruction accommodation for each of the following subgroups: a. English language learners (ELL) b. another subgroup of your choice (e.g., individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, individuals who have learning or physical disabilities, gifted or accelerated learners; or below-grade-level readers) 7. Describe an opportunity for students to demonstrate digital literacy within the lesson plan. 8. Explain how the lesson’s assessment aligns with the lesson sequence and accurately measures students’ competency in the objective identified in part
