Scientific paper – Proof the hypothesis
Paper details Introduction: Objective: after observing the structure of the leaves, we found that there were stomata on the epidermis of the leaves. I made the following guesses: 1. Aquatic plants have more stomata than terrestrial plants; 2. Aquatic plants have fewer stomata than terrestrial plants; 3. Aquatic plants have the same stomata as terrestrial plants. To test the conjecture, we use the same material and many methods. The purpose is to learn how to think from multiple perspectives and improve the ability to use multiple methods to solve the same problem through experiments. Method: The epidermis of the selected plant materials under the leaves was torn and produced. The number of stomata in the field of view was determined by observing under a 40-fold objective lens. Observation of different positions of the film, determine the average number of stomata, so as to make a comparative analysis. Rubric: Introduction: Sets the logical framework leading up to a clear statement of the hypothesis. Puts this study in the context of what is known about the subject of the study. Has most of the current peer-reviewed literature surveyed for the topic. All references properly cited in the text and listed in the bibliography in a formal style like APA or MLA. Methods:There is enough detail where any reader could replicate the study from the instructions. Has maps of study sites or description of samples, a protocol for data collection, math for any analysis clearly described.
