Rock art
1. Description of the rock art site including where its general location and the types of images represented at the site. Please realize these are images of Spirit Beings sacred to various tribal societies. Want to impress me? Embed the “specifically” image that I linked under your name. 2. You MUST use the eHRAF data base (maintained by Yale University) for your research on the tribal religion that produced the rock art. Failure to use the eHRAF will result in a severely diminished grade for this assignment. it must tell me what source(s) within the eHRAF were used in your essay. Do not write 250 random words. An essay is “a short literary composition on a particular theme or subject, usually in prose and generally analytic, speculative or interpretative” (Dictionary.com). 3. IF your browser will not open eHRAF, then switch to using CHROME which will open the eHRAF! You are assigned to look at this rock art site: http://users.stlcc.edu/mfuller/hillsart.html specifically http://users.stlcc.edu/mfuller/moarch/HillArtOpposumTail3.JPG Now, click on the Blue Button called “eHRAF by Yale Univ.” and type in two words in the search box: Osage Opossum Click on the words North American, then click again on the word Osage. That will make a Yale University researcher examine thousands of books of books, for you. The Yale researcher will offer to show you either the relevant paragraph or page in each book. Take notes on what you learn (name of book and information) – that is what you will use in your essay posted in the discussion board. By the way, the researcher is a good friend of mine – her name is Christine.
