Reflection and Teaching Statement
Description
Write a 3-4-page reflection on the content of the course (plus one additional page for references). Include the following: What topics did you find most interesting? Why? What topics do you think will have the most influence in your future work? Why? Explain how your view of ELLs change during the course, if it did. How can you make connections between the course readings, activities, and discussions and the importance of culturally responsive, inclusive education? Make sure to include support from the readings and other resources, and don’t forget to address what all of this information means to you as a future educator. In an additional, final, separate paragraph, write a brief explanation of the grade you believe you earned and how your work exemplifies this grade. Refer to the Grading Rubric as needed. 1.
