Reducing patient transport wait time (wheelchair)
Paper details:
This paper will be for a capstone project that was completed with a pilot within the Kirklin clinic. My primary focus was reducing patient transport a.k.a. wheelchair wait time from the parking deck to the individual clinic That the patient was going. The Kirklin clinic is a five story large building that has 30 specialty individual clinics ranging from internal medicine to all specialties within the healthcare field . I narrowed my project only to the parking deck to the clinic even though there are multiple entrances due to time restrictions and complexity. My literature review slightly got off course however I think it would be good to utilize some of it looking at the bigger picture of transport times from patients homes to clinics even though it is a broader mindset . I am attaching the literature review as well as some of the data that’s been collected during the pilot . I will also include some of the items I’ve turned in including timeline etc. which can be mentioned in the paper . I’m also including the instructions from the capstone project that has the requirements if the paper.
