 Research Project—ILS2090 The research project for this course allows the student to explore one facet of the working life through scholarly inquiry and research as well as personal reflection. While rigorous and appropriate research is required, this assignment does not ask for the writing of a research paper. Follow the directions of the research project carefully to ensure maximum success. As this is an ILS course, your research must delve into at least two academic disciplines—history, sociology, psychology, theology, music, art, etc. In addition, your research project must include consideration of at least one literary selection (including video/film) relevant to your research topic. This can be a selection (or selections) covered in our course or a selection or selections beyond our syllabus. Begin by determining a topic and by doing preliminary research to sufficiently narrow that topic.
