This paper will be graded based on the degree to which youre able to show that you have synthesized learning from the course. This assignments will be completed in two written parts. The purpose of the assignments is to analyze an organization by describing what you see, know, and have learned about particular agency and serve as a consultant and propose an organizational change that would benefit the agency you selected by applying information from reading. PART1 Select an organization then describe it through interviews and readings using the following outline: 1. Identify the organizational mission 2. Source: Leave blank I will complete So the above in part one is just interview questions so youre pretending to interview someone in the organization and answer each MLA style this part should be about 5 pages. I want you to use the organization that i worked as a Medicaid Service Coordinator for. This organization is called QCP which stands for Queens Center For Progress. Please take the time to research this organization and answer each bullet sufficiently. You can make up the answers based on your research. PART 2 This is the second part of the paper that must be written in APA format!! This part must be 10 pages. Please include reference paper. In the role of consultant to the organization described in part one, prepare a paper proposing an organizational change based on the following information Part 1 1. Summarize the main points of one of the “classic readings” from Shafritz & Ott text. 2. Define the key concepts from the readings and explain the major principles 3. Apply what you have learned to an organization with which you are familiar to illustrate your points Part2 & 3 1. Identify and describe an organizational challenge for your seelected organization that needs a solution. Identify, define, and explain the key elements of the challenge you selected. So an example can be as a MSC i felt like my MSC Supervisor was more focused on me completing notes then helping clients……Your explanations should be in your own words with examples of how these concepts are exhibited in the organization you selected. Analyze the challenge- Its origin and duration. How does it manifest itself? Its negative effects on the organization. How expansive are its reach (Client, Staff, Board)? What does the literature say about the challenge you have identified? 3. Propose an organizational change or changes that would alleviate he above challenge 4.
