Music performance review

This is your chance to tell me about a performance you either attended or listened to using an album. Read the instructions and email me if you have any questions. Performance Review Attend a live concert, watch a recorded one, or listen to an album. The style of music is your choice. At the top of your review, include the following information in this format: Performing Artist Composer(s) Album or name of performance (if any) Date of performance/recording Genre(s)* Example: Artist: Lara St. John Composer: Johann Sebastian Bach Album name: Violin Sonatas Date of recording: 1999 Genre: Baroque *genres can be anything from medieval to contemporary Intro: Introduce the artist/performance. Why did you choose it? Etc. Body (minimum 2 paragraphs): Write a review of the performance. In the review, address questions such as: did you enjoy the performance? What did you like about it? What did you dislike about it? What could have been better? What other artists are like this one? Conclusion: Would you recommend others listen to this particular artist or performance? Describe elements of music using terms like texture, rhythm, harmony, melody, forms (if any), etc. Submit your reviews by attaching a .doc or .pdf.
