PROMPT: Create an art piece yourself in either a visual, audio or verbal medium to present to the class. It may help to have some of the readings for this week in the back of your mind (i.e., Mark Doty, Michael Chabon, Susan Sontag) as you create your art piece. The only two requirements are that every part of the piece be important to you, and that it be dynamic. In other words, the piece should express your enthusiasm for the subject and medium you have chosen. Explain the process of creating your own piece and its meaning to you. How to submit your art piece: If it is a literary piece (poem or story), then you will have to provide an attachment or link; if it is not too long, post it directly on Discussion Board. If your piece is a painting, photograph or sculpture, you must provide an attachment or link with a clear image or images of your work; or, you can post the image directly on Discussion Board.
