Lencioni’s teamwork model
The purpose of weekly discussion posts such as this one is to facilitate engagement with the course material. This week we are continuing our discussion of Patrick Lencioni’s (2002) Five Dysfunctions of Team. Each question should be 200-300 words (include the word count after each question). After reading Lencioni’s book (over the past two weeks), answer three (3) of the following questions: Introduction through page 25: Why do you think that so many companies have problems with teamwork? What kind of things give people credibility? What is culture? How important is it? How important is it that a leader “fit” the culture? Pages 29 through 114 How do you detect lack of trust in teams? Open the discussion and select Create Thread to post your initial response. Simplistic posts will not receive credit, so please be aware of the depth of your posts prior to submitting. Original posts must meet the word requirement in length for each question and reference at least one outside source. Follow APA guidelines when citing sources and compiling the reference list.
