Job Analysis on a Bank Branch Manager
Students will write and submit a paper that provides the elements of a job analysis and also discuss the process they would use to collect information on the position. In this Job Analysis, students will: Generate task statements that describe the work done on the job(minimum of 5 ) Generate the KSAOs associated with each task statement. Link the KSAOs back to the job duties to be sure they are appropriate. Construct a job requirements matrix summarizing the information collected. This includes the percentage of time and importance for tasks and KSAOs. Write the person specifications (worker specifications that are the KSAO’s for the job) The paper must contain these broad topics: 1.Job Title Job Summary/Description (what the job entails) 2.Job Tasks: minimum of 5. 3. The KSAOs for the position. 4.Job Requirements Matrix modeled after posted examples Worker Specifications (applicant requirements: KSAOs): minimum of 5Job Tasks must include:Specific tasks to complete the work (one sentence per task) Essential tasks/behaviors Non-essential tasks/behaviorsTools, Machines, and Equipment operated/usedEnvironment (working conditions)Relationships(supervision given and received; interactions with others)KSAOs Additionally, students will write a summary (an instructional narrative)of how they would perform a job analysis for this position if in HR or an I/O Psychologist (e.g., methods of collecting information, employees or SME’s included, resources, etc.
