TOPIC QUESTION: How does Bicycle Thieves (1948) reflect a European Art cinema sensibility? You may focus on character types, settings, historic contexts, narrative themes and/or uses of film style in your response. This essay is an Audio-Visual Essay, which is where i will record word for word into a video from what is written. So this is just the script. You must demonstrate an understanding of what European art cinema involves in relation to Bicycle Thieves (1948) and its corresponding film movement (Italian Neo-Realism). The script, it’s not a formal film or television script where you follow a particular format/template.
