Issue Spotting

Description Pick one of the Anti-Fraud Statutes (Stark, AKS, or FCA) that we studied this week and do a little extra research. Consider the intent of the statute and find at least two examples of instances where providers, hospitals, or insurance companies ran afoul of the statute that you select; From a policy perspective, consider whether these laws are fair, or whether they need to be reformed to better take into account the realities of the industry; Draw upon your own experience, as applicable; Your write-up should be two to four pages and you should cite to your (peer-reviewed) sources.
