Intro of Creative Art

 Your term paper MUST meet the following criteria: • Your name, the course number and the section number at the top of your paper. • Title of your paper. • Your paper must be not shorter than 5 pages, black, single spaced, 12-point type. • You must use Cambria, Arial or Times New Roman Font. • Headers, footers and margins may not be more than 1 inch in width or depth. • All photos or images must be included at the end of the paper and do not count towards assignment length. The Assignment: Step One: You must visit the San Antonio Museum of Art at least one time (preferably two) for at least 3 hours. Look at the entire museum collection. Take a friend, go in groups work as teams! Step Two: Select two pieces of art from the collection. One that you “like” and one that you “do not like”. Step Three: Carefully and completely describe each piece individually. Identify the artist, title, date, materials (from which the pieces are made) and the size of the pieces. Describe the pieces formally using your knowledge of the Elements of Art, Principals of Design, and Style. Step Four: Explain what you think the content of each piece is. Step Five: Discuss or explain why you “like” the one piece and why you “do not like” the second piece. NOTE: Quoted sources do not count as part of the 5 paper requirement.
