The medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) plays a key role in lateral patellofemoral stability,and there has been signifacant clinial and research interest in MPFL reconstruction in recent years. Purpose of this review to investigate the reported indication for MPFL reconstruction (isolated MPFL reconstruction or MPFL reconstruction combined with bony procedures. 1-Primary patellar dislocation(with chondral lesion or fracture ,with ongoing instability symptoms). 2-Recurent patellar dislocation 3-Risk anatomic factors(Trochlear dysplasia,Patella alta,increased TT-TG distance,patelar tilt,increased Q angel,..) OBS:Try to use Electronic databases PubMed. AGE from 14 to 45.
