Importance of Precise Blood Spatter Analysis – A review
Paper details:
The intent of the first dissertation report is to convert the necessarily outline sketch of the first proposal to a detailed project plan, demonstrating viability, value, intellectual rigour and relevance to the broad aims of the course. It should provide a firm foundation for the project, ensuring clarity and unity of purpose for the student and supervisor, allowing them to have efficient and productive intellectual exchanges as the project develops, and thus a smooth route to timely submission. The objective of the report is to document progress in moving from a very brief outline of the project (the initial proposal; see order 7431580/my thesis proposal attached) to a detailed plan of what will actually be undertaken. To accomplish this, there is: • background / context that provides motivation for the study – why would one wish to undertake research on this topic? • an indication of current practice – in the present case, a UK governmental Manual; • a overview summary of what has been done in this field – concisely expressed in the form of a table (refer to page 4 in the thesis progressive report 1 example 2); • a list of references. This need not be comprehensive at this point, but should demonstrate the existence of sufficient material to study and significant reading of this. The key outcomes are presented on (refer to page 5 in the thesis progressive report 1 example 2), in the form of a detailed project plan. Undoubtedly, unexpected discoveries will result in some deviations, but the plan provides: • clarity on the primary objectives • specific questions to be addressed • an outline of activities (a timeline would be even better) • consideration of problems that might arise (risk mitigation) • confidence that there is a viable project with worthwhile outcomes • a route map for a smooth journey to submission of the final dissertation Now there is the critical analysis aspect: looking at all of this material, the student must make a more detailed plan for the project, identifying the areas of primary interest and those of lesser interest. The first report is the outcome of this activity, summarising (very briefly) what has been done, where there is most interest, what will (or will not) be the scope of the project, and finally setting out a plan (GANTT chart?) for the logistics of the project from here to submission. Could writer use some of the figures in the attached 15 journals in the report, for example: he can indicate the figure as (Fig 1 from which journal).
