How to enhance sustainable insurance within planetary boundaries
Please edit from scratch whenever necessary. below is what I am aiming for in my thesis proposal and am attaching the paper for proper revision. it’s necessary to follow the guideline mentioned in the last paragraph. In 2017, Kate Raworth published Doughnut Economics: Seven Ways to Think Like a 21st-Century Economist. Extending the work of Rockström et al, she essentially argues that it will be difficult to stay within planetary boundaries unless an equal amount of attention is devoted to the social foundation for sustainable development. She identifies twelve dimensions all of which are derived from internationally agreed minimum social standards, acknowledged as such by the world’s governments in the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015. Between social and planetary boundaries lies an environmentally safe and socially just space in which humanity can thrive; ‘the doughnut’. The aim of my research is to take this doughnut model of kate worth and show how the insurance can be the essential role to protect this safe space for humanity to thrive
