For this activity, you will be conducting a SWOT analysis on an industry organization of your choosing that falls under one of the three industry areas we explored this week (hotel/lodging, transportation, food/beverage). Activity Prerequisites: Prior to completing this activity, you must: Read/Review Chapters 2,3,4 Food and Beverage Services by Peter Briscoe and Griff Watch Animation: SWOT Analysis Watch Example: Starbucks SWOT Analysis Links to both these resources can be on you tube. Activity Directions: In this activity, you will be conducting a SWOT Analysis of an industry organization of your choosing. Select an organization that falls under one of the industry sectors explored in chapters 2-4. You will be creating your SWOT Analysis in PowerPoint or Google Slides. Your PowerPoint should be six slides, formatted as follows: Slide 1 – Title/Name Slide 2 – A brief overview of the organization you selected Slide 3 – S (Strengths) Slide 4 – W (Weaknesses) Slide 5 – O (Opportunities) Slide 6 – T (Threats) Each portion of the SWOT Analysis should have a minimum of three items.
