Harry Potter book series

Harry Potter Students will write a two-sided argument essays. Essays should be single-spaced and run 2-3 pages. • These essays will contain at least four (4) paragraphs. o Paragraph 1: Introduce the subject and define terms. Preview conclusion. o Paragraph 2: Evidence supporting the proposition (may be more than one paragraph) o Paragraph 3: Evidence against the proposition (may be more than one paragraph) o Paragraph 4: Summarize the arguments and reach a judgement. PROMPT TO ARGUE: Harry should be sent to Azkaban for his use of the Cruciatus Curse against Bellatrix Lestrange (OotP) and Amycus Carrow (DH) and the Imperius Curse against Bogrod, a Gringotts goblin, and Travers (DH). • All information that is not original work of the student must be cited using Turabian/Chicago Style. Both in-text citations (or footnotes) and a bibliography at the end of the comparison are needed. The Harry Potter books must be cited in the text, but they do not need to appear in the bibliography
