Examinming the plays Othello and Hamlet.

For this essay, you will examine the plays Othello and Hamlet. You will consider the roles of Iago and the ghost in the plays–their impact, what they represent/symbolize, what they reveal about the main characters, etc. (Remember, they are more than plot devices, so stay away from plot.) Please note that you need to engage the two plays TOGETHER. You do not want to simply devote half your essay to one play and the second half to the other. You need cohesion in your essay.
