Electronic Communication Plans

 Instructions For this assignment, you will develop an Electronic Communication Plan to connect children, families, colleagues and community. You will identify five (5) electronic/social media options for communication. Use the Electronic Communication Plan Template to answer the following questions: Type of communication – Identify five (5) specific methods and state if it is a one-way or two-way communication approach Timeline – Include a time frame for implementing this type of communication. Example: A newsletter will be sent by email once a month on the first Friday of the month. The first newsletter will be sent at the start of the school year. The last newsletter will be sent during the last month of the school year. Steps – Identify the specific steps you will need to take for this method. Example: “To send the newsletter I will need to collect email addresses for all families in the program. I will also need to make sure that I have the proper software to develop and send the newsletter. In addition, I will need to set up a schedule to develop and send out the newsletter by a set date each month. Resources – Identify any specific resources needed for this method of communication. Example: For an electronic newsletter I will need internet access and a list of emails. I will also need software to develop the newsletter and will need to keep track of any information that should be shared for the upcoming month”. Rationale – Provide a rationale for each communication choice and explain how the option meets the specific needs of the children, families and colleagues in your program and community.
