Ecology paper.
Components Your final paper should include the following: 1) Book objective and importance Clearly state the author’s main objective of the book. What general ideas does the author want to convey to readers? Also, discuss why this topic is important. You may consider the importance of the topic to human society and its important to the scientific fields of ecology and/or evolution. (i.e., why is this topic important for people to understand and know about?) 2) Book audience Clearly state the intended audience of the book and assess why that audience needs to know about this particular topic. If the author is not direct about their intended audience, you should provide an assessment with details supporting how you came to this conclusion. 3) Supporting arguments of the objective You should explain how the author conveys their objectives. These examples should be substantive enough for them each to be fully developed into a paragraph. It is expected that you identify a minimum of 2-3 well-developed approaches the author uses to achieve his/her goal. Keep in mind that your presentation of these approaches should encompass several specific examples or case studies from the text. 4) Evaluate the author’s presentation In this section, you should assess whether the author was successful in communicating convincing arguments to support their objective. Give your personal appraisal of whether the author was successful in presenting the objectives and supporting them strongly with arguments and case studies. Be sure to provide support for why or why not you found the author’s presentation convincing. Discuss any improvements the author could make to make their messaging stronger or clearer. In your assessment, consider whether their communication was successful given the particular target audience.
