Did the Supreme Court act politically or constitutionally in overturning New Deal legislation? 

You will choose a pair of historical articles, each arguing on opposite sides of a particular historical question. (Pairs of articles will be available in full on D2L in the Debate folder.) Your task is to read each, and craft a review essay. Your review must include the following elements. • An introduction to the question at the center of the debate; • A summary of each historian’s argument; • A brief description of the evidence each uses to support their position; and • A concluding paragraph in which you explain which historian you find more credible, and why.
