Developmental Psychology Bullying

 The textbook points out the problems in addressing bullying and the importance on long term data in research in determining which programs to implement as certain programs can actually cause an increase in bullying. Please address the following issues in your discussion response (backed up by credible research articles and cite your resources in text and after): 1) Why should school work to end bullying? Why is this an important issue? 2) What methods/solutions would be best done to prevent it? Research specific solutions. The book mentions that schools need to create a gender environment that looks down on bullying and encourages cooperation, but get more specific for me. How can they do this? What does the research say? See if you can find and discuss a program that works.
