(Foner Chapter 13 first half) Themes include: Manifest Destiny, Texas Revolt, The Election of 1844 and James K. Polk, the Road to War, the war itself 1846-1848, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, and anything else you feel is relevant.
