Demonstrate your understanding of majority group-minority group relations by presenting an example(s) of a population that combines at least two minority group statuses simultaneously, i.e., double jeopardy. Use concepts such as prejudice, discrimination, stereotyping, self-fulfilling prophecy effects, and intersectionality in your analysis. Note: “population” above refers to the segment of a society that consists of people bearing two or more specific minority group characteristics. Note the implications such intersections of two or more minority groups might have with regard to majority groups, i.e., there might be more than one majority group to consider, so be sure to identify each majority group characteristic as well.
