PURPOSE: Using our course materials up to this point (Modules 1-3), students should be able to: Go through our class materials up to this point (articles, videos, PowerPoints) and find the places where intersectionality is mentioned. Use these references to create a definition of intersectionality using your own words. Find examples from our course materials that make the case for why understanding a person or group’s intersectionality matters. CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS: Requirements: 700 – 800 words Reference at least two course materials (NO OUTSIDE SOURCES) Cite course materials in-text using ASA style (No Works Cited page needed) Formatting: Name, date, and word count at the top left corner of first page (no cover page needed) 12-point, Times New Roman font 1-inc
