Parameters: • can be between 1400-1600, but if you go below 1400 words or above 1600 words points will be deducted. After you have picked and watched the movie, write a paper identifying the libertarian argument being made throughout the movie. This could be best done by answering the following questions in the paper: What is the obstacle the main characters are facing? What is their solution to the issue that they are facing? How does the main character use libertarianism to support their argument? Make sure to include three vocabulary terms we have gone over in class. -Skepticism -Epistemology -Determinism -Metaphysics -Libertarianism -Social Construct -Social Philosophy Note: You are only allowed to use two of the following three terms: liberalism, utilitarianism, and libertarianism. Why? Because essentially liberalism + utilitarianism = libertarianism. You are allowed to use any two of your choice, but if you use all three and no other vocabulary terms, you WILL have points deducted. *** You are allowed to use sources outside of these as well in order to make you argument.
