Course Outcome: IT104-1: Examine the field of cybersecurity, including career opportunities and pathways to cybersecurity certifications. Purpose In this Assignment, you will examine the field of cybersecurity and cybersecurity careers. Knowing about your field of study, the certifications that are available, and developing trends in cybersecurity will help you remain current and relevant in your field. Assignment Instructions Using the Reading, the library, and Internet research, write a minimum 400-word paper that covers the following and includes three or more APA style references: What areas do you think will be important in the field of cybersecurity in the next several years and explain why you think that is the case. Also, include information on whether there are or might be certifications that would develop in this area. Note: Papers not meeting the minimum 400-word length requirement will not be accepted.
