Critical thinking

 In your response papers, students must use the weekly readings to respond to the ethnographic film(s) for that week. How do you see the concepts discussed in the readings play out in the film you watched for that week? In addition, students are also expected to chronicle the various methodological, stylistic, and conceptual approaches filmmakers employ. Each entry is worth 100 points: 50 points for effective discussion of the readings, and 50 points for effective discussion of the ethnographic film. To receive full credit, students must cite page numbers and must upload their entries on Blackboard (under Course Assignments) by 9 PM on Monday nights on the assigned due date as specified in the course syllabus.
