Conflict issue and facilitation
(1) Introduction (approximately one page): (2) Description and discussion of the conflict, problemo issue(6-7 pages). This section should review existing literature related to a conflict, problem or issue in university studentaffairs. This section should includetheories for understanding orexplaining theconflict, problemor issues,casestudies, theories ofchange of previous interventions, best practices from previous interventions,and lessons learned fromprevious interventions. Itshould briefly analyze, synthesizeand critiquetheliterature. (3) Recommended intervention and intervention design (6-7 pages). This section should identify an intervention using asingle oracombination offacilitation approaches or models fromthereadingsand/orclasswork. Itshould provideajustification ofthechoice of approaches or modelsand description of thetheory ofchange underpinning yourchoice of intervention. Itshould then provideafacilitation design to address theconflict, problemor issue, drawing on lessons learned and best practices fromtheliterature.
