Communication in the 21st Century Between Young Women and Men

 This includes your research question(s) and your method. The data gathering plan should be 1,200-2,500 words, not including your title page or reference page. The methods paper will describe and justify the method chosen to conduct a study of the proposed research questions. The statement of method will include the participants to be studied, sampling technique(s), and methods to insure participant protection. If you are planning a qualitative study, the paper will include a complete description of the method of analysis (how data will be inductively derived and interpreted), and the means by which you will insure the criteria for qualitative analysis. You must explain each step of your research method and justify its use in relationship to your topic. You will also include any tools that must be created for your method, for example: focus group/interview questions, surveys, coding sheets, observation prompts, consent forms. For this class, this is the most important section.
