Choosing the right technique

 find two structured analytic techniques and analyze your research question using the two techniques. Then review a case in intelligence case study that uses the most similar techniques as those you choose for your topic. Revise your own topic as appropriate from what you learned by looking at the case study. Write a summary of what you learned from the exercise. Make sure your post has a central theme and is written so it is obvious which is your analysis and which ideas were from a source.
