Case Presentation Critique
Case Presentation Critique: Present a case presentation to your class, including all information from the case presentation format. Do not use actual names (be sure to maintain confidentiality). Present two questions to at least two of your colleagues cases and respond to their questions about your case. 1. Introductory Information Identifying data, age, race, sex, grade, etc. Date first seen/referred and state reason for referral, i.e., presenting problem and past history of present concern. 2.Background Information Developmental History: Family constellation School and peer adjustment School History Relevant Testing Results Health/Medical History Developmental history or concerns. 3.Your Initial Diagnosis of the Problem 4. Interventions/Assessments Behavioral and/or Academic Referral: How was the initial referral made? Planned course of intervention: What interventions and assessments do you plan to use & why? What are your goals of this intervention and assessment? What do you plan to do if there is resistance to counseling or if problems arise (for behavioral/academic interventions)? What are the client’s strengths that will help with this intervention? What are the client’s weaknesses that might hinder the intervention? Any areas of specific concern? Please include testing results and/or reports
