This assignment will require you to use both Bodily/Kinesthetic and Naturalist intelligence activities in a standards based content lesson. Save your assignment as Week5Assignment.rtf and submit it by selecting the Homework link for the week or click Assignments in the Activities area. Assignment Guidelines In this 1-2 page assignment, you will be designing activities that integrate the Bodily/Kinesthetic and Naturalist intelligences. You will need to propose how you will integrate these intelligences into traditional subjects; such as reading, math, social studies, science, etc. In the activities you are designing, describe your learning targets, academic goals, content standards, and the specific Common Core Learning Standards you will be addressing. Describe the Bodily/Kinesthetic and Naturalist activities will you use to broaden your students’ engagement, understandings and retention of information. Looking back at the readings this week will give you many new strategies to try. In your opinion, how does creating lessons integrating both of these intelligences enhance learning for your students? In your classroom, anticipate the differences you foresee regarding classroom management and behavioral issues when you utilize more Bodily/Kinesthetic activities? Discuss any further ideas for planning Bodily/Kinesthetic and Naturalist activities that you envision.
