Ambiguous loss and caregivers of persons living with Dementia: the concept of closure. In this paper you will integrate 1) The theoretical, practice and research literature on grieving and loss with your selected population; 2) Grief concepts/theories that resonate with you (e.g. Growth and transformation, Parkes, “complex tapestry of emotions”; and the Dual Process Mode, Chronic lossl etc) 3) A human science-based nursing theory that will guide your praxis with persons grieving a loss (Parse’s theory of human becoming); 4) Controversies surrounding loss and grieving within your selected population (the concept of closure in grieving ambiguous loss) 5) A creative or artistic expression that reflects your understandings of grieving with your selected population in light of the controversy/challenge related to grieving and loss. It could be paintings or some art work
